Choice-Based Conjoint (CBC) Workshop
In recent years, a number of new books and proceedings on Conjoint Analysis have been published. In order to get an overview, we recommend: Rao, V.R.: Applied Conjoint Analysis and Hess S. and Daly, A.: Handbook of Choice Modelling.
In our seminars, we present and discuss scholarly articles on CBC. Some of them are freely available:
- Kurz, P., Binner, S. (2011): Added Value through Covariates in HB Modeling?, Proceedings of the 2011 Sawtooth Software Conference.
- Kurz, P., Binner, S. (2012): The Individual Choice Task Threshold: Need for Variable Number of Choice Tasks, Proceedings of the 2012 Sawtooth Software Conference.
- Kurz, P., Binner, S. (2015): Capturing Individual Level Behavior in DCM. Proceedings of the 2015 Sawtooth Software.
The book "Getting Started with Conjoint Analysis - Strategies for Product Design and Pricing Research" from Bryan Orme is an good introduction to CBC and can serve for instance as a preparation for one of our seminars.
Finally, we have selected some technical and applied papers that we regard as particularly worth reading:
